Benefits you enjoy while your device is being repaired

You receive a temporary device

While the device is being repaired based on the warranty certificate, you can benefit from a temporary device in order to be able to use Orange services.

Temporary devices given during the repair are being offered only in Orange direct shops, within the limits of available stock.
How will I be informed about the repaired device?

You will be informed by:
- SMS, if the phone number you indicated in the Protocol is an Orange
- e-mail, if you indicated the e-mail address in the Protocol at the moment you left the device for repair
- phone call, in case the indicated contact number is from another network

In case of loss of the warranty certificate, if you indicated the e-mail address in the Protocol, you can request a copy of the certificate. Otherwise, come in any Orange shop to receive a copy of the warranty certificate.

What should I do if my device doesn’t work?

In order to leave the device for repair, please visit the closest Orange shop .
What are the requirements for leaving the device for repair?

You need the following documents:
- the original of the warranty certificate in case it is still available
- the ID
- for Samsung and LG devices, additionally, you need to have the warranty certificate from their boxes.
If you don’t have these documents or the telephone is not covered by the warranty, the repair will be charged, in conditions of post-warranty, only in Orange direct shops.
Asus, Acer and Toshiba laptops should be brought with the battery, the charger, the box and the warranty certificate from the box. Toshiba devices additionally need the copy of the tax receipt. When you come for the repaired device, you will present the delivery-receipt Protocol.
How do I verify the availability of the device warranty certificate?

Verify the availability of the device warranty certificate here. In case it is expired, the repair will be done in accordance with our prices.
How long the device repair takes?

The device repair can take up to 14 days, depending on the identified issue. In cases when the device repair requires delivery of components from the manufacturer, the client will be informed accordingly, and if he agrees, the repair period will be prolonged to 30 days.

How to check that your device needs repair?



If the phone doesn’t start

- connect the charger to the device for 5-10 minutes
- remove the battery and put it back
- turn on the device



If the device doesn’t charge

- check the device and the charger (presence of mechanical defects, deteriorated USB port)
- verify with a different charger



It the phone doesn’t connect to the network

- verify if the SIM card is placed correctly in the device’s slot
- verify the SIM card by introducing it in a different device and by trying other SIM cards with your device
- verify the signal from the 2G, 3G and 4G networks from the phone settings



If after performing the actions suggested above the cause of the problem is not removed, visit any Orange shop in order to send in your device for repair.
